| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Anonymous install ID a random string generated on install, stored in a local file on your machine | The only way we identify "an install" to track and pay earnings — not tied to your name or email unless you choose to register one. |
| Which line was shown tip or sponsor, and which sponsor | Required to calculate what a sponsor owes and what you're owed. |
| Timestamps | Billing is based on how long a line was actually shown — this is the whole point of the "no artificial timers" design. |
| Payout email (optional) only if you register one | Where your PayPal payout gets sent once you cross $25. |
| First name (optional) only if you enter one on your dashboard | Used purely for the greeting on your own dashboard ("Good morning, ___"). Never shown to anyone else, never used for anything beyond that. |
| Daily billable-call count resets every day, tied to your install ID | A hard daily cap exists to stop automated abuse (a script hammering the endpoint instead of a real Claude Code session) from draining real advertisers' paid campaigns. This is the counter that enforces it. |
Company name, destination URL, the ad line text, and an email address, submitted directly through the advertiser form. Payment itself is handled entirely by PayPal — we never see or store your card or bank details; PayPal passes us only a confirmation that payment succeeded, along with PayPal's own order/capture/refund reference IDs, which we keep so a refund (see the Terms page) can actually be processed against the right payment.
Everything lives in Cloudflare KV, a database attached to the Cloudflare Worker that runs this whole service. We don't run our own servers and don't copy this data anywhere else.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else, for any reason.
Since there's no account system, we can't offer a self-serve "delete my account" button. Email mosaic.ai.companion@gmail.com with your install ID (or the payout/advertiser email you registered) and we'll remove your data from our database.
If what we collect or how we use it ever changes, we'll update this page first.
